 Jon Corona—Saxophones, Combo, Sectionals, Master Class.

     Jon holds a Master's degree in Jazz Saxophone from the U of O.

     He's a Bend High graduate, a "Combo" Alumni  and a fabulous

     performer and educator.

Steve “The Professor” Anderson—Drums, Combo, Sectionals.

     He's an exceptional drummer and educator who has taught and

     performed throughout the world!  And, band director and "Professor

     of Jazz" at Bend High.

​

Andy Armer—Piano, Improvisation Skills, Combo, Jazz History.

     The iconic Bend jazz pianist and composer of Grammy winning hit 

      songs: "Rise"& "Rotation" (Herb Alpert) and "Hypnotize" (Notorius

      B.I.G.).

Tom Bury—Saxophones, Improvisation Skills, Sectionals.

     Tom is a founding member of Central Oregon's funkiest horn band,

     "The Cutmen".  Tom brings the "fire" and show how to really make a

     section happen.

​

Rick Homer—Trumpet & Flugelhorn, Master Class, Sectionals 

     Rick has recently relocated to Bend from the LA area.  He's a classic

     horn man with a  beautiful tone--very reminiscent of the late Harry

     "Sweets" Edison.

​

Mark Karwan--Upright & Electric Basses, Combos, Sectionals. 

     Mark holds a BM in Electric Bass performance from SUNY, Buffalo   

     and spent a year on the acoustic at the Bass Collective in NYC.

     Mark is "first call" bassist for the most important dates.  He swings

     hard on the acoustic, He funks it up on the electric and he reads

     whatever is put in front of him!

Maxwell Friedman—Keyboards, Combo, Improvisation Skills, 

     Maxwell simply  represents the future of Jazz and improvised music.

     He leads his own exceptional quartet of seasoned funk & fusion

     professionals, he's a "Combo" alumni, a Hammond Organ artist and a

     Sophomore at Bend High School.

     

Georges Bouhey—Drums, Piano, Jazz History, Camp Director

     A long time proponent of Jazz in Central Oregon.---Georges

     practices, performs, teaches and promotes  music & Jazz. 

     He's the founder of the Bend Summer Jazz Camp!
