About the event

STUDIO 20 IS GROWING! Greetings Eugene friends and River Road neighbors.  Since moving back to Eugene just about 2 years ago I've been very fortunate to develop a relationship with the really great folks at River Road Parks.

We're Working Together To Bring Great Music To Young Musicans, Their Parents And  Our Community.

Private Drums & Piano Lessons--Teaching beginners and young adults the basics including  jazz and improvisation!

Concerts--Georges' Jazz Trio--June 2 at RR Park Headquarters & The Dorian May Trio "live" at Emerald Park July 13.

Jazz Camp--Georges' RR Parks Summer Jazz Camp at Studio20--July 9-12 for Middle & High School students!

"Coaching"--Thanks to Pleasant Hill band director Zac Tendick-I've been "coaching" his beginning jazz and big band students and they are sounding great!

Performing--And, because of Dona Clark and my friend Don Elkington I've been a part of "Jammin' With The Pro's"

at The Jazz Station since being back.  We just finished a killer sold out show there with Joanne Broh last Saturday.

Please Help Us Continue To Foster The Growth Of This Great  Music.

Georges' Jazz Trio--Buy a ticket and come to the show at the RR Parks on June 2!

The music is oriented towards Latin Jazz.  It is very dymanic, expressive, subtle, sensitive and swings "hard".

There literally is nothing like it being performed in Eugene.  And, you will LOVE the band.  With Dorian May (Keyboards) Dorothea May (Bass) and me playing a lot of Drums.  These are literally of the very finest musicians I've had the good fortune to work with since being back in Eugene and I GUARANTEE you will love it.   I would love to say "Hello",  meet you and discuss the future of music with our young musicians with you.
